Christian Dior's New Look is the epitome of the definition of "kissy": matching hat, shoes, gloves, umbrella ... a silhouette which is so impeccable, so flawless that it makes you feel SO feyus you MUST bevel, you MUST pose. Anything which brings THIS kind of delight is "kissy", anything orderly, put together, natty.
Personally, I think the outfit in the photo below COULD be kissy, but I think the hat is too squatty and too severe for the outfit, I don't know WHY that umbrella handle is coming out of her rear and that OVERcoat doesn't match the outfit at ALL in either colour form or function so I wouldn't call this a kissy outfit and I don't know that I would call this a kissy picture...I would think this misses the point, which would make this outfit point-missing and the photo point-missing on multiple levels.
