The 78th General Convention of The Episcopal Church #GC78

I've found so many exciting events planned for The General Convention (#GC78) of The Episcopal Church (#TEC) that I decided to compile a compendium of linkage, as well as my blogroll which features not only fun and brilliant minds, but links to practical things like the BCP online, Lesser Feasts and Fasts and an online NRSV of the bible you can snatch passages from quickly and easily and without verse notations for ease in posting from mobile devices.

#GC78 home base for interactive prayer: For the first time worship at General Convention will connect with worshippers interactively. Everyone -- near and far -- will be able to join devotionals led by the Society of St. John the Evangelist (SSJE), and contribute to the General Convention’s prayers of the people. This feature is also available on the mobile and web-based app.
#prayersof
Through the use of words or images received through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, Episcopalians from around the world will help craft the General Convention’s prayers of the people using the #prayersof and individual hashtags established for each day’s theme.
SSJE says they will be preparing morning and evening meditations. <Perhaps as podcasts or “prayers to go,” these web-based audio casts can frame your day as you connect with all those at General Convention. Each eight- to ten-minute recording will include a prayer, a brief reflection, and beautiful chant.>

Live-streaming from Salt Lake City of legislative sessions from both houses, daily worship, press round-ups, and on-demand features. Plus you'll find links to coverage from Episcopal News Service and a complete calendar of events.
