The Great Litany

This is the 1st Sunday in Lent and Episcopals love to pull out The Great Litany.  It's such a beautiful prayer.  We petition God for all kinds of people in all conditions.  One of my favourite verses is <That it may please thee to inspire us, in our several callings, to do the work which thou givest us to do with singleness of heart as thy servants, and for the common good>.
